About Thomas J. Foy
Graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.A. from Iona College in 2010 and from Hofstra University's Maurice A. Dean School of Law with a J.D. in 2013. He has been admitted to the NY State Bar as an Attorney and Counselor-at-Law since 2014. He is certified by New York State as a Fire Instructor II and by Pro Board as an Incident Safety Officer.
He has worked for the New York City Fire Department since 2015 as an emergency medical technician and currently as a firefighter assigned to Hook & Ladder Company 175 in East New York, Brooklyn. He has volunteered with the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department since 2008 and has served in a variety of roles including chief of department and as a member of the board of directors.
He currently represents the organizations below:
- Lawrence North Fire District
- Lawrence-Cedarhurst Rescue, Inc., a not for profit ambulance company.
